Why these scenes are important to T&B history: Todd Manning was first introduced as a cocky jock, who could do the deed, but would not stay around for small talk, cuddling or caressing. That was what set Marty off. Todd hit the spot, pulled up his pants, buttoned up his shirt, and took off. It has been noted that Todd had "intimacy issues", but early in Todd's relationship with Blair we saw those issues disappear. I will never forget the scenes where Todd comforts Blair and stays with her all night. He does not have sex with her even though Blair was more than willing. Todd says, "Look, Blair! I never had sex with someone I liked." "Now I don't know anything!" "I don't know what to think, or what to feel." Blair tells Todd, "I just don't want to be alone tonight!" "Will you hold me?" Then while positioning his hands where she wants them, Blair gave instructions on how it was to be done. "Like this!" "Like that!" There was also the time when Blair came home after seeing Addie and Cord. She was upset and she and Todd made love. Afterwards, he wanted to know what she was thinking as he softly touched her hair, he asked, "How does this feel, Blair?" Todd Manning has come a long way baby! There is not a man in Llanview who can comfort his woman the way this man comforts Blair. |
You know me better than that
You think I'd leave you down when you're down on your knees
I wouldn't do that
I'll tell you you're right when you want, I
And if only you could see into me
Oh when you're cold, I'll be there
Hold you tight, to me
When you're on the outside baby and you can't get in
I will show you, you're so much better than you know
When you're lost and you're alone and you can't get back again
I will find you, darling and I will bring you home
And if you want to cry
I am here to dry your eyes
And in no time, you'll be fine
You think I'd leave your side baby
You know me better than that
You think id leave you down when you're down on your knees
I wouldn't do that
I'll tell you you're right when you want, I
And if only you could see into me
Oh when you're cold, I'll be there
Hold you tight to me
Oh when you're low
I'll be there by your side, baby
Oh when you're cold, I'll be there
Hold you tight, to me (to me)
Oh when you're low
I'll be there by your side, baby
